Mark Calcavecchia

The McDavid Group is proud to welcome Mark Calcavecchia to the fourth annual Golf for C.O.P.S. Celebrity Pro-Am. Mark, a long-time Palm Beach County local, is the winner of 13 PGA Tour events, including the 1989 British Open. He defeated Greg Norman and Wayne Grady in a playoff at Royal Troon to become a major champion. Mark also finished runner-up at the Masters in 1989 and the Senior Open Championship in 2001.

The former University of Florida Gator is a four-time US Ryder cup team member, and currently competes on PGA Tour Champions, where he won the 2018 Boca Raton Championship. Mark has always possessed the ability to go low. He holds a PGA Tour record with nine consecutive birdies in a round, set another PGA Tour record of 32 birdies in 72 holes, and shot 29 on the back nine at the Masters!
